 The  fatal shooting took place at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 30) in the  a nearby section of the school where many classes take place, according to local news coverage.

Police department said that as soon as they received the call they responded to the active shooting situation with multiple patrol and EMS units, along with SWAT and aviation units.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office declared that one suspected shooter is in custody, and officials have confiscated a handgun, they said.

Officials don’t believe there are any other threats at the moment, but they are still searching the school for extra security. meanwhile A lockdown was issued, and is still applicable.

One shooting victim was shot in the face, according to the police. That student’s condition has not been confirmed.



at the mean time school buses arrived to transport the evacuated students to the nearby high school of Meijer north of the school.
